Paris Jackson Reveals Perforated Septum Linked to Past Drug Use: “Don’t Do Drugs”

Paris Jackson has opened up about her past struggles with addiction, revealing that she still lives with a perforated septum caused by drug use. In a recent video shared on social media, the singer and actress demonstrated the small hole inside her nose, explaining that the whistling sound in some of her past videos comes from this condition. She used the moment to warn fans, saying, “Don’t do drugs, kids,” while noting that substance abuse “ruined my life.”

Jackson, who has been sober for nearly six years, said the condition developed when she was 20 and has made recording music more difficult. Despite that, she shared that she has chosen not to undergo surgery because she wants to avoid the medications required for the procedure. The 27-year-old emphasized that taking care of her health and sobriety remains her priority.

Last month, Jackson spoke about her recovery journey while receiving the Shining Star Award at the Friendly House Awards Luncheon. She said she is grateful to support others dealing with addiction and hopes her story encourages people seeking help. Jackson and her brothers, Prince Michael and Bigi, remain the only children of the late Michael Jackson.
